The RCMP's evidence room got a little fuller this week as RCMP recovered numerous stolen items while executing a search warrant.

Hockey equipment and firearms were the booty uncovered by police in a stolen property cache found in Prince George.

Police raided a home Wednesday night in the 1600 block of Rebman Crescent. Members of the city's RCMP Crime Reduction Team brought a search warrant to the home due to suspicions of criminal activity inside.

"Upon entering the property, a number of stolen items was located and seized by police," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "Some of the items include a stolen semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun, parts to another stolen weapon, over 500 rounds of various ammunition and a hockey bag full of hockey equipment. Many other firearm parts were located, but have not yet been found to be stolen."

Police arrested Brent Allan Fulljames, 24, who now stands charged with several offenses in relation to these items.

Fulljames was still in custody, as of last police contact, and will next be in court on Tuesday.

In addition to these charges, Fulljames was already accused of break-and-enter, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a controlled substance all stemming from two 2010 investigations, said Douglass, and these matters were already before the courts.
