There’s a Giant Garage and Bake Sale taking place at the Elder Citizens Recreation Centre, 1692 Tenth Ave., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Elder Citizen Recreation Association line dancers with proceeds going towards operating costs of the centre.
There’s a concession for lunch, a bake sale and so very many books to choose from, along with all the usual garage sale finds you expect to see. Discover some real treasures that donators have been hanging on to for this very occasion.
There’s still time to donate to the cause by dropping off items after 2 p.m. on Friday. Please no large appliances or furniture.
