Nine Prince George organizations are receiving a combined $332,650 from the B.C. government's community gaming grant program.
The Prince George Minor Hockey Association is getting $100,000, Fraser-Fort George Museum Society $86,000, the Central British Columbia Railway and Forest Industry Museum Society $34,000, Le Cercle des Canadiens Francais de Prince George $30,000, Prince George Blizzard Speed Skating Club $25,500, Prince George Youth Volleyball Club $25,000, Prince George Ringette Association $23,250, Yalenka Ukrainian Dancers Society $6,000 and Prince George Canoe and Kayak Club $2,900.
These grants were awarded under the program's sport and arts and culture categories. The grants are also awarded in the categories of public safety, environment and human and social services.
