The most recent Citizen online poll asked readers what their favourite TV drama of 2016 was, and a resounding 42 per cent said Game of Thrones is the ultimate ruler, taking 112 votes.
Two shows came in with 17 per cent each as Walking Dead took 46 votes and Stranger Things took 44 votes.
The Crown trailed slightly with 15 per cent and 39 votes and Scandal took six per cent, for a total of 17 votes.
There was a total of 266 votes.
