Full slate for tonight's council agenda

One of the first items on the slate is an update on some new innovations incorporated into the Coldsnap Winter Music Festival. Key volunteers Jo Beattie and Sarah Cunningham will explain a first-time partnership with several local social groups, the musicians taking part in the festival, and some young people who are getting music and cultural exposure like never before thanks to a new workshop format.

Mayor Dan Rogers is set to announce the reappointment of Tejinder Grewal to another three-year term on the Prince George Airport Authority's board of governors.

The Winter City Committee will release its annual report.

The Gang Crime Summit's report will be released, plus a powerpoint presentation by development manager Chris Bone.

The proposed Residential Wood Innovation Comprehensive District will be discussed, including a powerpoint presentation from long range planner Tiina Watt.

There will also be a number of typical agenda items like zoning [example: for a medical facility and apartments in the downtown rim], a discussion on fees from the Finance and Audit Committee, the results of the Alternate Approval Process centred on funding some construction on the Simon Fraser Bride, a report on nuisance mosquito control, and more.

These council meetings are always open to the public. It starts at 7 p.m. in the second floor council chambers at City Hall.
