William Joseph Kennedy was sentenced to 41 days in jail for breach of probation. It was the fourth time he had been found guilty of the offence since he was sentenced in July 2006 to 20 months in jail and two years probation for sexual assault, assault with a weapon and being unlawfully in a dwelling house, from a May 2006 incident.

Wayne Allen Loewen was sentenced to one year probation, fined $500 plus a $50 victim surcharge and issued a five-year firearms prohibition for assault with a weapon and was fined $250 plus a $50 victim surcharge for breach of an undertaking.

Clinton Nichols was sentenced to three years probation with a suspended sentence and issued a five-year firearms prohibition and issued a $50 victim surcharge for careless use of a firearm.

Aug. 17

Joshua Tyler Corbett was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $1,000 plus a $150 victim surcharge for driving while impaired and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for dangerous driving.

Hank Pierre was prohibited from driving for three years and sentenced to 96 days in jail for driving while prohibited under the Criminal Code, committed in Tsay Keh Dene.

Ralph Edward Vansomer was sentenced to 30 days in jail for two counts of breach of probation.

Aug. 16

Billy Bradley Lolly was sentenced to nine days in jail and one year probation for theft $5,000 or under.

Simone Marie Thomas was sentenced to 12 days in jail for two counts of breach of probation.

Aug. 15

Gordon Theodore Peltz was sentenced to three months in jail for wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, to one month for breach of an undertaking or recognizance and to 20 days for breach of a probation order.

Aug. 12

Albert Richard Barfoot was sentenced to 30 days in jail for failing to appear pursuant to a court order.

Ronald Dale Collin was sentenced to a four month conditional sentence and one year probation for theft $5,000 or under.

David John Goulet was fined $800 plus a $120 victim surcharge for theft $5,000 or under, committed in Oliver and $350 plus a $52.50 victim surcharge for each of two counts of theft $5,000 or under, committed in Princeton.

Dale Allan West was sentenced to 60 days in jail for assault, committed in Prince George, to 30 days in jail for uttering threats to burn, destroy or damage property, committed in Burns Lake, for assault, committed in Takla Landing, and possession of stolen property under $5,000 and theft under $5,000, committed in Prince George.

West was also sentenced to 18 days in jail for possession of stolen property under $5,000, theft $5,000 or under and wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, committed in Burns Lake, to seven days in jail for theft $5,000 or under, committed in Prince George, West also received one year probation on all counts and had credit for 42 days time served on the 18-day sentences.
