French conversion courses begin Thursday for beginners at Le Cercle des Canadiens Francais centre. Courses for the intermediate level started Sept. 14.
The French Canadian Association are also holding a corn-on-the-cob roast on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the fall season. Bring your own picnic lunch or have chili and corn at a reasonable price. Games and door prizes are on the program.
On Nov. 6 FCA will celebrate 50 years in the community with a gala at the Ramada Hotel. Tickets are $40 for the dinner and dance. Call Renee Trepanier at 250-561-2565 for more information on the events.
