There will be free bus rides between the Pine Centre Transit Exchange to the College of New Caledonia campus on Tuesday for the Lakeland Mills fundraiser.
The shuttle service will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and follows on the contribution PW Transit, B.C. Transit's operating partner in Prince George, made the night of the April 23 disaster when one of its buses transported 13 workers to University Hospital of Northern B.C.
PW Transit is contributing to the silent auction at the fundraiser - a trip for two to Whistler, flight, hotel and lift passes included, and two large gift baskets. PW Transit employees will also be delivering a cash donation.
