The city's transit service is providing trips at no charge to help voters get to the polls today.
Two routes have also been adjusted as the 91 Hart/Spruceland will deviate off North Nechako Road to bring riders to Edgewood elementary school and the 46 Queensway will drop riders off at Ron Brent Elementary School.
There are six other locations to choose from to cast a ballot: Blackburn Community Centre, D.P. Todd Secondary School, John McInnis Centre, Kelly Road Secondary School, Malaspina Elementary School and Vanway Elementary School.
The break also applies to the city's HandyDART system.
Voters will need to bring two pieces of identification, at least one of which must have a signature and in combination they must prove both identity and place of residence.
Voters also need to be at least 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, have lived in B.C. for at least six months and have lived in Prince George for at least 30 days to be eligible.
Doors open at 8 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. at the eight locations.
