Frederick re-elected Lheidli T'enneh chief

Dominic Frederick will remain chief of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation.

Members elected the incumbent, who's held the position since 2005, to a new two-year term Thursday as Frederick drew 66 votes, a 16-vote margin over his nearest competitor, Rena Zatorski.

In the race for one of three seats on council, Joshua Seymour was the most popular with 74 votes, followed by Louella Nome with 60 votes and Shirley Wiltermuth with 53.

Those elected to the lands authority were Dolleen Logan with 96 votes, followed by Frank Frederick Senior and Shirley Wiltermuth, both with 73 votes.
