A Fraser Lake man is missing and could be in Prince George.

Jerry Keith Kreitz, 42, was last seen in the community 150 kilometres west of Prince George the morning of Fri., July 7.

RCMP said Krietz was going to Prince George to shop and was driving a white 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier with license plate EK227

It was possible Krietz may have stayed in Prince George for the weekend however family advises that he does not know anyone in the city and failed to return to work on Monday, RCMP said.

He recently moved from Manitoba to Fraser Lake and does not know anyone other than family, RCMP added.

"He calls his mother almost every day and it is highly unusual to not have regular contact with family members," RCMP said.

He is described as caucasian, 5' 10" tall and weighing 185 lbs with brown eyes and dark brown hair that is usually shaved

Anyone who may have information on where Krietz may be is asked to call the Fraser Lake RCMP at 250-699-7777 or Prince George RCMP at 250-562-3300.
