I have been a resident in Prince George for 30 years and served as director on the College of new Caledonia Board, employment action, Spruce Credit Union and the Provincial Round Table on Forestry. I am also the elected president of the United Steelworkers for Northern B.C., a position I have held for over 20 years.

My roots are firmly planted in Prince George and it's where I raised my family.

My vision involves increasing growth and attracting new business and families to lesson the tax burden on current residents.

Our city has been stagnant for 20 years averaging 70,000 to 80,000 people; there is no reason why we can't be the true Northern capital with all we have to offer. We just have to set our priorities and develop a plan with checks and balances that will provide fairness and accountability to all Prince George residents and businesses.

We must bring all the organizations working for the betterment of Prince George together for the common goal. Working in isolation of each other and City Hall is a waste of time, money and resources.

We need to improve our roads, infrastructure and snow removal to meet your expectations and present an image that's attractive to new families, new business and investors.

To accomplish this we have to re-connect the residents of Prince George back to City Hall so you are more involved in the decision making process to revitalize all of Prince George .

This is critical to moving our city forward without the support and understanding of those paying the Bills progress will continue to be stalled. I have complete confidence in the people of Prince George when given the opportunity to participate and provide both their criticism and ideas our city ,residents and business will be the benefactors of this cooperation.

I am Frank Everitt and I look forward to this challenge and working for you and ask for your support and vote on Nov. 19.
