The province considers applications for community gaming grants four times per year, with each intake devoted to a specific sector. This time grants included payments that would honour multi-year grant commitments made prior to the Community Gaming Grant program.

As of April 1 the province put both bingo affiliation and direct access grants into the Community Gaming Grant program so all community groups have access to gaming funds.
