University of Northern British Columbia's Office of Indigenous Initiatives hosted the Four Connections Spring Equinox and Ceremonial Fire Circle on Wednesday afternoon in UNBC's Agora Courtyard.
There was a celebration of the Spring Equinox, as well as, a ceremonial first lighting of the Fire Circle. A fire circle is a traditional gathering place which for generations has been used for the sharing of stories and teachings, and begin sacred ceremonies, events, and rituals.
