Four people were arrested and later released after Mounties in Prince George executed two search warrants on Sunday (May 31).

Cpl. Craig Douglass says the RCMP's Street Crew Unit alongside the General Duty Section performed Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants as part of the same drug trafficking investigation.

The warrants were executed at homes in the 500-block Ewert St. and the 2700-block Quince St

A quantity of cocaine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and cash were seized during the search.

One of the suspects involved was also found in possession of cocaine and cash.

Douglass says two 32-year-old men were arrested as well as two women aged 21 and 28.

Those arrested were later released pending investigation and charges approval from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada.
