Prince George RCMP are seeking the owner of a coin collection that was recovered about a month ago.
On Sept. 3, RCMP pulled over a stolen vehicle and arrested the male driver. While searching the vehicle, members located a cardboard box containing a quantity of coins. Some coins were loose and some were protected in packaging and wrappers. The coins include special issue, commemorative coins, and collections for certain years.
Police have exhausted their search for the possible owner through investigation and are now asking the public for assistance.
