FortisBC brings call centre home

A grand opening was held this morning for the new FortisBC call centre in downtown Prince George - an operation that's employing 100 people and delivering a $5 million annual payroll to the city.

A grand opening was held this morning for the new FortisBC call centre in downtown Prince George - an operation that's employing 100 people and delivering a $5 million annual payroll to the city.

Located at Second and Dominion in what was previously the home of the ACS call centre, FortisBC is in it for the long haul, the company's CEO and president John Walker said as a service that was previously outsourced has been brought inhouse.
