Well-known animal killer Kayla Bourque, a former resident of Prince George, is once again in trouble with the courts.
Bourque was originally convicted in 2012 for killing animals and also causing them unnecessary pain, primarily cats.
In an emailed statement to PrinceGeorgeMatters, Communications Counsel for the B.C. Prosecution Service, Dan McLaughlin confirms Bourque appeared in court on Tuesday (Jan. 22) in Vancouver Provincial Court and plead guilty to an allegation of a breach of a term of the order under section 810.2, which prohibits her from accessing social media sites.
He adds she is also before the courts on other information alleging a breach of bail.
Sentencing for the guilty plea as well as a bail hearing on the new breach has been scheduled for Feb. 8, 2019.
She remains in police custody.
Bourque originally lived in New Westminster before moving to Surrey.
