The City of Prince George and Prince George Transit are mobilizing to support the Salvation Army.
From Thursday to Sunday bus users can ride for free by donating a non-perishable food item.
Donation boxes will be placed on each bus, and all food gathered will be donated to support the Prince George Salvation Army.
"We are proud to take part in helping the less fortunate in our community this Christmas," Mayor Shari Green said. "Let's make this initiative even better than last year."
