Volunteers were hard at work at the Salvation Army food bank during the sixth annual B.C. Thanksgiving Food for the Food Bank Day drive on Saturday. The event, organized by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, helped restock the shelves of the food bank. Prince George residents donated approximately 15,000 pounds of food.

If you missed the food drive but would still like to make a donation, call 250-961-2408 to arrange for pick up, or drop the donations off to the Salvation Army Food Bank at 3500 18th Ave. and mention it's part of the Food Bank Food Drive, organizers said.
