Northern Health says the first doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Fort St. John.
Those immunized Friday included long-term care residents of Peace Villa, as well as assisted living residents and those needing alternate levels of care at the hospital.
Peace Villa resident Hilda Harder was the first to receive her shot, followed by Naomi Gardner.
Heritage Manor residents as well as Peace Villa and hospital staff will be immunized next week.
