A meat smoker tucked inside a local nightspot was the source of a fire Tuesday night.
The blaze at Cowboy Ranch in the 2100 block of Queensway Street caused about $15,000 damage, Prince George Fire Rescue said.
A total of 15 firefighters from three halls were dispatched to the scene at about 9 p.m.
They arrived to find the building evacuated and traced light smoke back to a room used to smoke meat products. From there, the fire was found to be coming from one of the smokers and was quickly put out, PGFR said.
Cause of the fire was deemed to have been electrical.
