Fire crews will be conducting live fire training at the Prince George Airport on Saturday (Oct. 29).
The fire exercises will be held between 7 a.m. to noon, and dark smoke may be visible coming from the area of airport.
“Locals are reminded these fires pose no threat to the public or surrounding areas,” a statement issued by the airport on Thursday said. “These fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and are part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification.”
