The Prince George Fire Centre is encouraging the public to continue to exercise caution with all burning despite cooler weather, said Forests and Range Minister Pat Bell.

The Prince George Fire Centre is encouraging the public to continue to exercise caution with all burning despite cooler weather, said Forests and Range Minister Pat Bell.

"Nearly half of wildfires result from careless human behavior every year," said Bell. "I'm calling on all British Columbians to take an active role in fire prevention this season, and be our partner in

protecting people and communities."
