Fire destroyed a detached garage early Friday morning in a residential Prince George neighbourhood.
Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three halls were called at about 6 a.m. to the 1200 block of Ewert Street to the fire at the rear of the home and found the garage fully ablaze.
The fire was extinguished but not before leaving an estimated $40,000 damage.
PGFR investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire, according to assistant chief Fred Wilkinson.
