A townhouse in the 2100 block of Upland Street was on fire when 15 firefighters from three halls responded to the call just before 6 a.m. Monday morning.
Flames were visible when fire rescue arrived and residents of the unit had been evacuated.
There were no injuries to occupants or firefighters.
The fire was confined to the unit and was quickly extinguished.
Damage is estimated at about $30,000.
The cause is under investigation by the Prince George Fire Rescue Service and the RCMP..
