A large shop was on fire at the back of a property in the 9100 block of Collena Street in the Haldi Lake Road area when Prince George Fire Rescue responded with 15 firefighters from three halls Sunday at about 5:30 p.m. There was no one home at the time.
Firefighters worked to protect vehicles and the nearby forest.
The cause of the fire is undetermined but does not appear suspicious in nature.
There were no reported injuries. Damage is estimated at about $60,000.
