A fire late Tuesday morning destroyed a building and a neighbouring business in the Two Mile Flats area of Quesnel.
The building housed Design Flooring and Deco. As well, the Love Shack, located next door, was destroyed.
However, a neighbouring restaurant escaped damage and no one was hurt in the blaze.
Nearly two dozen firefighters were called to the scene at 11 a.m. and a lane of Highway 97 passing through the community was closed while the blaze was battled.
An investigation into the fire has been launched.
