Prince George fire fighters will be out at city shopping centres on Friday and Saturday raising money in support Muscular Dystrophy Canada during their annual boot drive.
They'll be found at at Walmart, any of the four Save
On Foods locations, Costco, and Pine Centre Mall from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Also, be sure to look out for the Fire Fighters on Friday night as they visit local bars and pubs to collect donations.
The money raised will be donated to improve the quality of life for people living with neuromuscular disorders by purchasing mobility equipment, providing support services, and funding research, which will one day lead to a cure.
Last year, Fire Fighters in BC and Yukon raised over $628,000 for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
