The Prince George fire chief has lifted a ban on recreational fires.
John Iverson rescinded the prohibition Wednesday after cool, rainy weather reduced the risk of potential fires.
The ban in city limits was put in place July 3.
It applied to open fires of any size, the use of fireworks, sky lanterns and tiki torches, burning barrels or burning cages, using binary exploding targets and air curtain burners.
