Fire fighters were called to a rural home at 7645 Tabor Creek Road after a fire broke out inside around noon on Friday.
Fire crews quickly contained the blaze, which was caused when items stored near a wood stove caught fire. The home suffered minor damage to an interior wall as a result of the fire.
Residents are warned to keep flammable items away from wood stoves, furnaces, electric heaters or other heat sources - particularly during the winter heating season.
