Need a little fun in your day? Need to feel like you are part of the in crowd at the office or wanted at home.

Well worry no more as The Citizen has just what you need to get you eating at the big boy's table again.

Here's the deal. Each Wednesday we will provide you with part of a proverb and your job is to finish it. We don't want the original proverb ending. We want you to use your noodle to make up your own ending.

If you are clever enough the in-crowd at work are sure to burst into laughter at your witty endings as you harness the powers of the hidden talent you didn't know you had.

If not, well there's always next week.

There are no holds barred, just remember, they need to be family friendly as we will be publishing the best, worst and also rans on page 2 of The Citizen each Monday.

Email us your best proverb ending to [email protected]. Please make sure to leave your name so when you see it in print on Monday you can cut it out, put it on the fridge and lord it over the whole family as you parade around the house wearing your princely proverb crown.

You can provide as many proverb endings as you like.

Example:

Fortune favours...

ENDING: Those who are fortunate enough to have people who owe them favours.

ENDING: are the gifts rich people provide at their birthday parties.

The real proverb is: Fortune favours the bold.

Your proverb ending for this week is:

Hope for the best, but prepare for...
