The crew at CBC Prince George is hosting an all-candidates forum, where everyone running for mayor and council will have the opportunity to answer questions about the pressing issues Prince George is facing now – and for the next four years.
The event is on Sept. 25 on the second floor of the Bob Harkins branch of the Prince George Public Library.
It will be an opportunity for the public to learn more about each candidate and where they stand on local issues.
Each candidate will be given a minute-and-a-half to introduce themselves.
CBC will then submit questions to the candidates – each candidate will get two cards, and if they want to answer the question they can play one of their cards. If no one volunteers to answer, a name will be drawn and the chosen candidate will have to answer.
The two mayoral candidates will be asked bonus questions, and each will have a chance to respond.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The event starts at 7 p.m. and will go no later than 9 p.m.
