Residents of Prince George will have a chance to provide input on the 2011-12 provincial budget when the select standing committee on finance and government services visits the city on Tuesday.
The committee will hold a public hearing at the Coast Inn of the North, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Consultation spaces are limited in number and filling up quickly, so interested parties should look into availability of spots soon. To book a spot, e-mail [email protected].
The committee is urging the public to bring ideas about spending priorities, tax relief, deficit management and other fiscal issues to them for discussion.
The questions, ideas and concerns of the public are discussed by the committee as it prepares its recommendations to the ministry of finance.
