Alex Cryderman, a first year CNC new media communications and design student, is the winner of the first annual John Harris Fiction Award. Her story, Happiness Isn't Easy, was selected from 22 submissions from throughout northern B.C. Runner up winner is Marie Chicoine-Stewart for her story, Crazy Old Birds.
Other favourite writers are K. Darcy Ingram, Shelby Peterson and Tealia Froese.
