Tyler Eugene Fetterly is now considered a missing person.

The 26-year-old was sought by RCMP last week due to information he may have about a police matter.

He is not suspected himself of being a suspect in that crime, nor any other, said police at the time. They merely wanted to talk to him to better understand an undisclosed matter.

On Thursday, police upgraded their search for Fetterly.

"Since the initial media release, significant efforts have been made by friends, family and police to locate Tyler, but have been unsuccessful," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass.

"Tyler was last seen in Prince George in early October ... He is now believed to be missing."

Fetterly is described as a Caucasian male, five-foot-ten tall, 161 pounds, with blue eyes and a bald head or short brown hair.

Anyone that may know his whereabouts is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300.
