Crown counsel has approved charges against a father and son in relation to an alleged break, enter and theft at a Girl Guides summer camp southeast of Prince George.
Robert Glenn Klyne, 42, and Brady Samuel Klyne, 18, each face one count each of break and enter and committing an indictable offence and possessing a weapon for dangerous purpose.
The two were arrested Wednesday afternoon when RCMP were called to the area 75 kilometres outside the city.
Court records indicate no criminal record for Brady Klyne but an extensive one of minor offences for Robert Klyne. Most recently, in September 2015, he was sentenced to one day in jail and 15 months probation and assessed $400 in victim surcharges for possessing a weapon for dangerous purpose and possession of controlled substance, committed in Prince George.
The son remained in custody as of Friday while the father was released on a $5,000 recognizance with a $500 deposit.
