A 25-year-old man has died after a collision in Quesnel.
At 8 a.m. Monday morning, Quesnel RCMP and the Cariboo Chilcoton Traffic Services Unit responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck near Safeway in Quesnel.
The 25-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was critically injured while the driver of the truck received minor injuries. The motorcyclist, a Quesnel resident, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later in the day.
The man has been identified but his name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation and police are asking that anyone with information to contact the RCMP office in Quesnel at 250-922-9211.
