Two men are dead after fire swept through a residential building in a rural area near Clinton Sunday.
Around 5 p.m. on Feb. 12, Clinton RCMP responded to a residential fire caused by an explosion in a rural area located approximately 15 kilometres from Clinton. Upon arrival, two men were found deceased as well as a dog.
The cause of the explosion is unknown, and the incident is under investigation by the fire commissioner, the BC Coroners Service and the RCMP.
The identities of the deceased are not being released pending notification of next of kin.
