One person is dead after a three vehicle crash on Highway 16 east of New Hazelton Saturday morning.
Police were called to the crash near Mug Flat Creek, approximately 15 kilometres east of New Hazelton, shortly after 9 a.m.
New Hazelton RCMP were still on scene late Saturday morning investigating the collision. Highway 16 was closed to traffic in both directions as of 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
No further details were available as of press time, and the police investigation was ongoing.
