A Vanderhoof woman was sentenced Tuesday to 22 months in jail for impaired driving causing death.
Desiree Dawn Patrick, 28, is also prohibited from driving for five years from the Oct. 3, 2015 incident near Fraser Lake.
Patrick was also sentenced to five months for taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and to two years probation on the counts.
Patrick has a history of taking vehicles while impaired, according to court records. In March 2015, she was prohibited from driving for one year and sentenced to one year probation for the offences, committed in June 2014 in Vanderhoof.
