A fatal car crash took the life of a 26-year-old man Thursday at about 8:30 p.m. near 13340 Miworth Road.
Police responded to the report of a single vehicle crash and located a Dodge passenger van which had skidded off the road and struck a power pole.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The name of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Speed and alcohol are suspected to be contributing factors to the accident.
The investigation into this fatal collision will continue.
