The Prince George Farmers' Market outdoor season will kick off this Saturday.
Vendors will have booths set up at the corner of Third and George Street, in front of the courthouse and across the way from the indoor market, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"Farmers' Markets are unique opportunities - they are the farm, the bakery, and the craft shop, all in one place," said Prince George Farmers' Market Association president Nancie Krushelnicki in a press release.
"Our market is the place where shoppers can truly meet the people that make, bake and grow the products that they are buying.
"It is this intimacy and friendliness and the quality of the goods that bring people downtown to shop every Saturday throughout the year."
The rollout marks the 16th anniversary of the market.
To celebrate the start of the outdoor season and Mother's Day, there will be cake for all and cupcakes just for moms, as well as a draw for a mother's-only market basket.
