The community of Prince George continues to pull together as wildfire evacuees come pouring into the city to take refuge.
The Wilson Square Community Farmer's Market is going to be fundraising for the people affected by the wildfires.
On Saturday, the market will be serving free hot dogs to children ten years old and under, while supplies last.
And for everyone else, a grilled salmon and scrambled egg breakfast baguette will be sold, by donation. All proceeds will be donated to the fire relief fund.
Many vendors will also be participating by holding their own individual fundraising during the market with up to 50 per cent of their proceeds going towards the relief fund.
The event will take place during regular market hours from 8:30 a.m. to
2 p.m. at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre on Third Avenue.
Parking next to the market is free.
Market organizers urge the whole community to come out and support the people affected by the forest fires.
