A 46-year-old Cache Creek transport truck driver was charged with failing to yield following a two-vehicle incident Monday on Highway 97 South at Railway Road.

Gary Godwin, media liaison for the RCMP, said the driver of the northbound transport turned left into the BCR site right in front of a southbound pickup truck which collided with the transport truck's back wheels.

Two men, aged 66 years and 27 years of Prince George, who were occupants of the pickup truck received non-life threatening injuries, which were treated at University Hospital. The driver of the semi was not injured.
