The Evil Dead want your blood.
To help stem the blood-letting advantage Kelowna has taken in the 16th annual Interior Drive for Life, producer Judy Russell and the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical want to pump residents for blood donations.
Prince George is trailing Kelowna in the annual blood donor challenge, which runs through Oct. 31. Kelowna has achieved 91 per cent of its collection target to date, while P.G. has sucked in 89 per cent.
Starting at 10 a.m. Oct. 23, Russell and the cast will be on hand to entertain anyone who comes to make a donation at Canadian Blood Services - a perfect warmup for opening night.
There will also be a free Evil Dead ticket voucher for the first two donors through the doors at 2277 Westwood Dr.
Residents who want to book a donation appointment can do so at blood.ca or call 1-888 2 DONATE. The clinic is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays, every four weeks from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
