Le Cercle des Canadiens Francais of Prince George invites the community to participate in more than a dozen activities spotlighted during its week-long winter festival.

-- A local Francophone artists exhibit is on now through Feb. 7 at Two River art gallery at no charge.

-- Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. - 50th anniversary concert and dance with Edith Butler, also known as Mother Acadia is at the Columbus Community Centre, 7201, Domano Blvd. Opening show features Les Colons Biens, a local folk dance group. For tickets call 250-561-2665.

-- Feb. 1 - Preschool story time at 10:30 a.m. at the Cercle des French Canadiens, 1752 Fir St.

-- Feb. 1 and 2 - School workshops with Edith Butler at Westwood Mennonite Church, 2658 S Ospika Blvd.

-- Feb. 3 - Seniors' luncheon at Exploration Place at 11:45 a.m. RSVP to 250-561-2565; Free Movie Night at 6:30 p.m. at CNC.

-- Feb. 4 - Free hockey game and family skating at 6:30 p.m. at College Heights Community Rink.

Free amateur sculpture contest from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Free demo dog sleigh ride and the parade at 11:45 a.m.

Free horse sleigh ride and cross-cut, snowshoe and hammering competition from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Toffee on the snow from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
