Old Time Dance
Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Columbus Community Centre, 7201 Domano Blvd., the Barndance Boys band, along with Prince George Knights Society, are holding a dance featuring the two-step, waltz, and seven step, with proceeds going to BC Children's Hospital. Caledonia Ramblers hike or snowshoe
Sunday at 10:30 a.m. the Ramblers are hosting an easy snowshoe/hike in Shelley. It should take three to four hours and cover five to seven kilometres. Free Cross-Country Classic Ski Lesson
Register today for event on Monday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Otway, Caledonia Nordic Ski Club. Target group is beginner skiers who are seniors 55 plus. Just Let Us Sing
Friday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 3590 Dufferin Ave., Grandmothers to Grandmothers will raise their voices to welcome in the new year. The musical director for the evening will be Tina Filippino of Letz Sing Community Choir in the Comox Valley. As well, the evening will feature two guest choirs - The Forever Young Chorus and The Redeemed Christian Church of God Choir.
