The main branch of the city's post office is expected to reopen to the public early next week after this week's closure.

The Canada Post outlet on Fifth Avenue has been closed since Nov. 2 due to a computer problem, said spokesperson Eugene Knapik, leaving the branch unable to process retail transactions.

"It's taken us a few days to get the parts, but the parts have arrived and we're going to have a tech onsite on Monday," Knapik said. "We hope to have it up and running at some point on Monday, or Tuesday at the latest."
