A group of elementary students is sending an angry message to Prime Minister Stephen Harper: "Harper is NOT the government."
Students of Ecole Franco-Nord marched to Conservative MP Dick Harris's office in protest of the apparent federal Conservative Party mandate to change the government's official letterhead from "Government of Canada" to "Harper Government."
Media reported last week that public servants in four federal departments reported to the Canadian Press they were directed to change the letterhead by the Prime Minister's Office and Privy Council Office.
The students brought a petition on their march that read in part: "...we believe that our government's directives reflect not only one person or one political party, but the 305 deputies that make up our democratic office."Check out the video of the protest in Citizen Video on the homepage.
